A week of pleasant ... and not so pleasant ... surprises =)
Jerome went back to school on 22/5...
Things looked pretty ok...
Thru the weekend,
spent precious time with my Baby =)
On 25/5 when he went back to school,
MommyDearest called me in the morning saying he had a FREAKIN 39.5 degree temperature!!!!
He was also complaining of knee-joint pains....
UBER worried...
Having taken like an ENTIRE week of leave for the hospital,
I couldnt leave work...
Mommy updated me thru calls while at Thomson Medical...
Jerome's fever has gone down already,
He went back to his Dad's place on Thursday..

Jason told me Baby had complained of more pains...
I really dunno what is wrong...
Dunno what i'll do if anything happens to him......
Mommy was saying it may be just that he's growing so his muscles are being stretched resulting in the aches...
OR worst-case scenario would be some kind of muscle diesease....

It's in the papers& online too: Car crash that burnt 3 victims..
I've only met him once..
And i found him to be a nice and funny guy..

Home Sweet Home...
Finally!! HOME after one FULL week!!! =) I miss my bed!!!! =P
Baby's discharged but doctor says to monitor him closely... He's phlegm is still there and all, but he sounds loads better already... Follow up session with the doctor on Thursday..
Just to note, ALWAYS CHECK THE BILLS BEFORE PAYING!!! The hospital charged us for things we did not use and medication baby had not taken yet!! Said we bought pampers from them when we did not, and charged him for two doses of medication on the final day when he only had one dose.. The pampers and medication was NOT cheap mind you... **Leo says if ever there is another need to stay in the hospital, to always sign beside EVERY charge entry at point of administration.. I think i agree!!!**
Final bill was about $6500.... After CPF, Cash payment made of $3700... o.Ouch!!!
So his teacher Ms Janet came by with some well wishes from his schoolmates.. His Mandarin teacher even made a card for him!! =) Aww!! Ultra cuteness!!! Thank you schoolmates and teachers!! =)
Sheeha?? LOL!! No it's just his nebulizer =P Hearts my lil boy!! =) All the other patients had many HUGE HUGE balloons.. So Jerome made my mom buy this lil balloon for him lol!!

No time to update.. Will do so in detail soon...
Doc had originally wanted to discharge Jerome on Saturday but after his blood test and x-ray, the doc said she'll keep him til Monday and review again... Still too much phlegm in his lung area too... Poor Baby...
Anyway it's 5+am now... Jerome got himself a new neighbour about an hour ago.. A wailing baby with a fever... Only JUST managed to coax him back to bed...
Checked with the nurses for any available single-bed rooms but none at the moment... Need to wait and see if anybody will be discharged at noon...
Thank you to all who came =) Including Relatives, Friends, Family and Teachers =) And Thank you to Jerome's classmates/schoolmates for the colorful 'Get-well-soon' art pieces =)
And Thank You Leo for dinner last night!! Some outside food for a change was good!!

Baby slept well enough last night... Only woke up twice... For me, it was difficult to sleep.. Worry + LOUD wailing from Infants outside... I half slept in half hour intervals... zzZz... He's fever was up and down but did not cross the 38 degree mark. Just lots of coughing and PLENTY of phlegm... Doctors are also doing some tests on his blood... Some bacteria something.... Hope he gets well...
He was a little homesick yesterday but i think he's settling down... Plus, how else would he get to watch cartoons all day... Lol!!
Thanks you guys for all the words of encouragement... Over the phone, via SMS, Through Facebook and all. Yeah Jerome will get thru this!!! =)

Jerome was warded at Thomson Medical Hospital today... Some lung infection / pneumonia....
U have no idea how i felt when i received the call from my Mother... I was practically in tears as i cleared up my work station... At times like this, i'm glad i have my TL Edwin around... He let me go off without much questioning and will arrange my leave for me too... Pros and Cons with him... But still... THANKS EDWIN!!!
Poor baby... My heart is crying...
Dun understand how the doctors in Changi Hospital can NOT notice the lung infection on Sunday... The specialists here said it's been accumulative and started around last Friday....
Dun understand how the father's side looked after him causing hospitalization.....
Will be staying by my Baby's side til he is discharged...
On the plus side.... One of the doctors here was shocked to know that i'm the mom... She thought my mom was his mom and that i was the sister... She said i look like i'm in secondary school or something... LOL!!! I'm gonna leave compliments for that Doctor!!!
