Darling daddykins celebrated his 54th Birthday today!!!! =)

Had his birthday cake at home,
followed by Lunch at Marina Mandarin =)

We used to go there all the time..
Up until the buffet started to take it's effect on us........ -_-"

Can't remember what it used to be called but they have 'glammed' the place up since...
It's now called 'AquaMarine'.
The lunch buffet is at $35+++/person,
and with it's quality of food,
I'd say that's well worth it!!! =)

But we were quite upset...
The staff were pretty unorganized...
My mom made a reservation weeks ago for 12pm...
I called in at 12pm to change it to 1pm....
*So that's TWO calls*
When we got there...
They said they didn't have my reservation...
And instead of solving the problem,
they kept asking me what time i called and who i spoke to and blah....
My mom was so pissed, she raised her voice telling them she wanted the problem solved IMMEDIATELY!!!
And you see them scurrying around trying to get us a table~
*Yup my mom didnt leave them any tips this time!!!!*

So i camwhored while Jerome was peeing in the toilet...


No i wasn't playing Diva-wannabe...
I just love that brown top my Mom got me!! =)

And back to Food Heaven!!!

This section had terrific DimSum, sandwiches, fillings, Salads...
behind there was Indian cuisine and even Laksa ad Chicken rice~

At the back,
the Japanese cuisine corner...
The sushii and sashimii.. *AwesomE*!!!!
It's fresh and thick!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And our most patronized part of the place was it's dessert bar!!!!!

On Saturday night...
Was uber tired from all that beach sun and afternoon beers..
And since my baby was finally asleep,
I was very happy to lie beside him, close my eyes and drift off to my la-la land....

At 1220 am, found myself on board a taxi and heading via CTE to 'Plus'...
For coming down, with my 'Gigantically Colossal' mountain of a pimple sitting smack in the mids of my forehead... and the fact i'm bloody sleepy...
Terence shall owe me!!!

Only other person i knew there is Rong Jie..
Don-trist wasnt there..
Terence intro-ed me to his other friend Grace..
Like WOW!!!
She's only 19...
1year ago.. She was a 'He'...
And 8000 bucks changed her life for her!!
It even reads 'Female' on her i/c!!!

Earlier at the gathering at Cafe Del Ma,
i ran into my dad's colleague in the toilet..

We were just making polite chit chat and all..
So she asked me if i was also in the 'Banking Industry'..
I told her i tried it out with OCBC but i found that banking's just not my kinda thing.. That i prefer Hospitality....

So she's like:
"Oh i was in OCBC too. In the Fraud Dept. What abt you?".......

In my tiniest voice i siad, "Teller"....
And worst still, not main branch but some tiny useless ulu branch....

I felt sooo emabarassed la!!!

She asked what i was doin now...
I told her i was doin my DIPLOMA in Hotel & Casino Mgmnt...
*OMFG!! I'm 22 and doin a FreakkiN' Diploma ONLY????*
And working in StarHub as a Customer Service Officer....

There was a time when i thought things were going well...
I'm studying and working and all.....

Now,
suddenly it seems like it's not enough...

My dad is an Executive Director - Regional Head of Compliance..

And i...
drop-out student..
Private Diploma..
a lowly post of CCC - StarHub TEMP staff!!

It's time to make some plans for my life!!!

After my final exams in January 2009..
And if i'm not converted to perm staff by April..
I shall start finding Superior Posts...

What i really want to do thou...
- Get my Degree in Hospitality
- I want that done in UK!!
- Get a Cruise post.
- or Get an overseas post!!

we collected our door-gifts of mineral water, beachballs, ballons...

and then went in to claim ourselves a nice outdoor seat! =P







o.O Plentiful people..
All the staff and their family~~

The food was really good!!
And they had a great variety..
*Shall ask dad to ask his HR for the caterer's name....
StarHub should use them!*

After food,
brought Jerome down to the sofa beds out on the sand..
Jerome loves it so much there!!! =)





Slacked as we watched th MCee give out lucky draw prizes~


I think the MCees were Allan Wu and some VJ or something...

Spent some quality time with my baby out on the beachside too =)














After all that running around on the beach, headed back to mommy and daddykins =)






Daddykins also brought us around to see and meet people..
