Was in Surabaya from the 3rd to 12th of May..
Flew Valuair..
Was super excited on departure day that i was the first to be there!
After lunch,
Leo came, followed by Stan,
and last to arrive, a very anxious Fiyonne..
We checked in,
then decided to walk around DFS..
Bought my Mac foundation =)
So much cheaper!!! =)
On board the plane..
Stanley is smart!!
Got us all aisle seats!!
So Stan & Leo infront & Fiyonne & I behind..
Was hoping for some turbulence..
But it was so mild... Boring!!!
Looked out the window...

Welcome to Surabaya!!!!
Leo's worker picked us up from Surabaya's International airport..
Rosa came to meet us too!!
o.O i miss that girl!!!
Since we hadn't gotten accommodations,
we drove straight to the travel agency..
After about an hour,
we managed to book the Narita Hotel...
for the following Monday onwards..
Apparently every single hotel was fully booked for the weekend...
So for that day and Sunday,
Leo's auntie offered us her place =)
With accommodation done,
FOOD!!!!!!!!!!
Went to some Indon restaurant..
Forgot the name...
OMG Fantastic food!!
No pictures coz i was stuffing my face!!!
The rawon was fantastic!!!
AND AND AND!!!
We could smoke inside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After food,
we went to Leo's aunt's place to place our luggages and freshen up before heading down to Coyote bar.. A club Leo used to frequent.
I liked the place.. Happening!!
The live band was fantastic!!
We got 2 bottles of chivas and drank and danced away!
Leo actually paid two of the thai dancers to lap dance with me..
Since i was already high on alcohol, i didnt resist!!
Lol!!

On Sunday,
picked Rosa up den Leo drove us to the Temples coz Stan wanted to pray..
Went to the QuanYin temple..

After praying,
Leo made as taste some local dish..
looked like our cockles but smaller...
Tasted *bleah*...
But Fiyonne liked it...
After finishing the dish...
Leo was like..
'Now let me tell you the story'..
Arss!!
These cockles are dug from human feaces.. human shit...
and then just washed in the river...
I was like.. WTF!!!
No wonder the two locals (Leo & Rosa) didnt touch the food!!!
After that,
walked over to take a look at the other temples..
With my goldfish' memory & laziness,
i'll just let the pictures talk for themselves..
I cant really remember much from the start of the trip..

On Monday's move to the Hotel..
The Hotel looked splendid!!
My room number!!
Leo & Stanley were in 426!!

Did ALOT of shopping!!
That weekend happened to be their Sales weekend!!!
Bought 2 original Gap shirts for Jerome @ 50% discount!!!
Later that night, Leo's worker brought 2 btls of 1Litre Cordon Bleu to our rooms..
o.O yUmmay!!!!!!!!!!

Spent the night drinking and playing..
and squeezing pimples on Leo's back..
Then when both lil piggys were snoring away,
Left the room to return to mine...
Some events are pretty messed..
Dunno which came first and all..
We watched Iron man at one of the malls...
The show was pretty good..
The tickets were like 4 bucks each!?!?
Bloody cheap!!!!!!!!!
Met Leo's friend Gerald..
He's a model & instructor..
And he also works in Valuair..
He's ok..
I wouldn't say he's hot or anything but he's freakin' funny!!
He said i was pretty!!!! *Blush*
But he HAD to add..

Had dinner somewhere.. The food was fantastic!
Then headed to the Hotel..

That night, Leo took Stan and I to a club he used to patronize alot.
Since it was a weekday,
the place was pretty empty and people there were mostly high on ecstasy..
But still it seemed pretty nice =)
Next morning, went to the newer shopping centres..
Owned by Pakuwon or something similar in that context...
Some fukkin' rich guy basically..
There's the twin towers, big ben and all..
awesome replicas built as shops..
The "chinatown' square..
The whole place was fantastic!!
Had snacks in some Japanese-style fast food restaurant..
My favourite favourite drink!!!!!
o.O Addicted!!!
I love Teh Botol!!!!
The food was good!
They should think about having this in Singapore..
Fast and affordable!!
After snacks and all,
drove out..
Stanley & Rosa were gonna meet Rosa's family for dinner..
Leo, Fiyonne and I went to Pisa House nearby..
Love the place!!
Felt sooo classy!!

After dinner,
headed to one of Rosa's fav hang outs..
Can't remember the club's name..

The club was nice..
But not my type...
Left after a couple of beers..
Sent Fiyonne back to the Hotel
then had Macdonalds before sending Rosa back..
Had an eerie encounter in my bathroom that night..
Ran to Leo's room straight after my bath to sleep!
We had one day dedicated to a drive up Tetres..
Had a good breakfast/lunch @ Rosa's place..
Rosa's mom's Rawon is fantasticalicious!!
Played with Chello, Rosa's dog..
During our drive up,
Leo pointed out where the Hot Mud spill was...

Was so tired i fell asleep first..
Our first stop,

Some kind of deepfried round thing with seaweed, hum and alot of other stuff inside..
It tasted pretty unique. Nice but too salty for me.
Like a small kid so happy to eat he's fav food!

This trekking trip up was scary.
My first encounter ever!!!
On the way down the,
we were in this sequence..
Stanley, Rosa, Fiyonne, Me then Leo..
While walking down,
nobody saw a pair of abandoned slippers except Leo.
I saw it only after he called out to me and pointed it out..
Leo: Merissa! Take it la!
Me: Crazy!! Dun wan la!!
Leo: Take.
Me: Dun wan!!
Leo: Just take la, you might need it.
Me: I don't want k. Lets go.
Then on the way down, we were just laughing and joking around when i suddenly slipped slightly for no reason. I screamed and my slipper broke!!!
Leo lent me his slippers and we continued to go down..
Halfway down, there were two exits.
Rosa suddenly stopped and told us to hurry out.
Upon reaching the safety of Leo's car, Rosa told us..
About my slipper, Rosa said that JUST before i screamed, she heard a female voice speaking in Java language saying "Tell you to take you don't want!"
And later when she suddenly stopped, her legs were shivering actually..
Apparently, Leo was about to call out to her just as she stopped because he felt something behind him.
That really freaked me out!!
So Leo drove out to the shops where i bought a new pair of horrible looking slippers to use first..
Had satay for dinner..
Surabaya has the best Satays!!
I'll nv have Satay again in Singapore!!
Just cant be compared!!
They have Beef, Chicken & RABBIT!!! Satay....
I was reluctant...
But i must say that rabbit meat IS delicious...

Dinner was great..
Now for the long journey back.....

Super grand house!!
But including the land and building all,
it took only S$1 million plus!!!
The place was HUGE with really nice statues and all!!!
Before sending Rosa home,
detoured to buy some food.
Leo said the murtabak here is fantastic..
Has cheeze and chocolate and all.. o.O
After sending Rosa back,
went back to the hotel..
Took a bath and headed over to Leo's room..
Ate the murtabak.. OH!!!
Orgasms just by eating them!!!!!!!!!!!
That's how good.. no.. FANTASTIC! they were!!!!!!!!!
That night,
Was too afraid to sleep by myself so gathered evryone to share Leo's bed...
Woke up to Leo's armpit in my face!! -_-"
Leo said that i was tossing all night...
Returned to my room to bathe..
If you can imagine..
This is only 1/3 of my shopping!!!
Since i ran out of clean clothes,
borrowed Leo's shirt.
Headed to Rosa's to pick her up before lunch before heading out for more wallet damage!!
Had some jelly cake her mom made..
o.O delish!!!
Had three plates of that!!!!!!

Had lunch at some restaurant..
The fish and calamari was awesome!!!!!
After lunch, headed back to the Pakuwon place to pick up Rosa's friend, Angel..
The area we drove thru' was like Singapore in Surabaya...

After picking Angel up, drove into Pakuwon's area..
It's like the richman's area or something!!

They even have a garden in the middle that's filled with geese!!

After our little drive,
it was to the shopping malls for awesome shopping!!!

bought one to thank Leo for bringing us around..

Was bloody high by the time we got back to the hotel!
Next morning,
the two guys got up to pick Rosa and Angel up while i had a lie in...
Was all washed up by the time they got back.

After everyone got dressed,
headed out to another mall to meet Gerald, his gf, his other student and Leo's friend Tupang..
Gerald with his two students, the one next to him is his gf..
He kept pinching my cheeks and his gf was sooo pissed!!!
Lol!!!
Didnt take pictures much..
Did more shopping then anything really...
Had fusion japanese cuisine for dinner before breakin' up the group.
Tupang came with us and we headed to Blowfish again..
But this time at another section that wasn't as fun..
Finished up our balance bottle then headed back to finish the cordon bleu in the hotel room to end the night...
At times when i feel alone and in an emo state of mind,
i'm glad to have Leo around for comfort.
Just innocent, deep & comforting friendship at it's best there.

Next day was Sunday i think..
our last night there..
Woke up and headed to Rosa's for brunch.
Her mom and maid are awesome cooks!!!
Just that i tink they put too much MSG....
Was so effin' thirsty after that!!
After a satisfying brunch,
our group of 7 (Leo, Stan, Fiyonne, Tupang, Rosa, Angel & I) got into the car for our drive to Pasar Atum!!! Surabaya's Mangga Dua!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Shopped as if there was no tomorrow!
This was our 2nd trip here..
the first one was i think our 3rd or 4th day there...
After shopping,
we noticed that Fiyonne's eye was terribly red and pursuaded her to see a doctor..
Went to a private hospital and the doctor there said it was too serious for them to handle. so we headed to the government hospital for her treatment..
First time i've to go to a hospital in all the times i've been overseas!!
Doctor took one look at her and made her case of high alert... -_-"
Waited for a very long time before she was done..
After that was done, headed back to the hotel to finish up the cordon bleu and to pack up a little..
Was piss tired...
In the morning, continued to pack up my luggages...
Came with one and i'm goin back with two..
Went out for lunch first..
Leo's favourite.. can't remember what it's called.
i will miss my Rawon... =..(
After checking out and loading all our luggages into the car,
drove over to Leo's aunt's place..
Will miss Leo's funny auntie and happening cousin!!
Sad to leave..
10 days was not enough at all...
